Although later than promised I still pulled through. I had soooo much fun makin' this so I hope that rubs off on you. The man had classics. A Major Minority - Black ELement

I've been indoors all day and finally came around to listening to a lot of albums I didn't even know I had LOL. As for this tape, I remember getting it because of the big homie BboySpaz (whose YouTube vids I've been watching to step my production knowledge up). I have to say the tape is FIRE! Even the cover is sick. As for the BboySpaz produced tracks, Out in the Cold and...

...The Burbs, they're nothing short of pure eargasmicness (spell check fail). Anywho, be sure to support the homie Black EL though. Dude really comes correct on the mic. Don't sleep on Boston people.

SnowPocalypse

So I woke up and looked out the window, and just as I expected all I saw was a sea of whiteness. It was a beautiful disaster to say the least because one car parked on the street was completely covered in snow lol but the whole neighborhood looked so clean and soothing.

The whole thing actually took me back to the last time I remember the DMV having so much snow. I remember still being in high school at the time, sophmore year I believe. Longmeade was my city (not neighborhood, but city lol nobody reps Silver Spring). That's when pops could still ball (knees where still working and diabetes didn't take it's toll yet). The Herring brothers were still roaming the earth. NJROTC was my life. I still dreamt of being a doctor, and was the family's trophy son. The lil' bros were shorter than me and still had chipmunk voices. I was still crushing hard on Nazarate and Chanel LOL (never got any of them, go figure). Soccer was a mainstay in my life. I hated go-go with a passion. My bestfriend was Manivann, from what I hear he's back in Cambodia. Moms was still in UMBC and pops was doing security. My boombox was my entertainment (never had a TV in my room). Life was simper back then.
Kinda miss all that.

The 10 Hustler's Commandments

So the homie was schooling me on some entrepreneurial tips that he came across and blessed me with these commandments, which I believe we should all incorporate in our lives in order to attain financial freedom. I won't sit here and say it full proof, given I still have to use them in my lifestyle, but I wanted to share it with ya'll. All credit goes to the big homie Hotep. Be sure to check out his site, and also purchase his book.

1. Your network is your networth.
2. Image is everything.
3. The early bird gets the worm.
4. It's lonely at the top.
5. Success: Where opportunity meets preparation.
6. Business is personal.
7. Everything is negotionable. EVERYTHING!
8. It's not what you know or who you know...It's who knows you.
9. It takes dough to make bread.
10. Know and believe in thyself
